This tribe of people are the only ones who live below the rim of the Grand Canyon year round. It is an 8-mile hike in. Most people, however, travel by donkey or helicopter. Send mail from the reservation is unique also because it is the last remaining mail train in the United States.

This link will lead you to a copy of the story I wrote for the Deseret Morning News.

Chile

The people of Chile are so beautiful. There is always at least one person in the cathedrals praying and they are always so quiet.

I was first drawn to Catholic cathedrals when I took art history. There is a purpose to all design and many of them are made of the same pattern. They just have unique "external" features.
